Green Eyed Monster

I'm still a baby when it comes to editting images (I must confess, sometimes, I find it quite frustruating). However, i recently discovered the marquee tools in photoshop and how useful they can be in making subtle yet effective changes to a picture. I've noticed that with the best editting i've seen on Shutters, it's all in the details. Here, I used the elliptical marquee tool in PS to accentuate the green in my eyes (and inversed it to bring out the whites). Not a major change, but i think it's enough to make a difference - especially when you compare it with the original (http://shusho.shutterchance.com/photoblog/58580.htm). What d' you think?

nice shot. it seems people are more into PSing than photography, learn the basics composition and light. PSing will come with time. this photo is good but it could have been better if it was composed better. i know self-portraits are hard to compose though. btw where did u get ur 400D from? how much did it cost?
Morenike Olagbaju: This was actually one of the shots i was going to chuck until i realised it would be a good one to practise my pp skills with.

A mild reminder of a painful moment. A signature left you by time. It doesn't undermine true beauty in anyway. Its only on the skin, not in the genes. its meant to be loved...
