photoblog image Tamilore II

Tamilore II

Back from my brief hiatus. Stuck at work most of last week (and the week before!) and didn't get the chance to take a decent pic. But I'm back now, and have a few portraits up this week.  Hope you missed me ;)

I took this picture of my niece (see picture of  14 August) a few days before she turned six months. It was on one of those very rare occasions when I was able to carry her without her crying her eyes out (either she doesn't recognise me anymore as her doting aunty due to the long hours I spend at work, or she thinks me frighteningly ugly). What I like about this picture is the maturity in her smile. It's like she's saying, "I know something you don't…"

I put this picture up for my mom who hasn't seen her granddaughter in about three months now (she's away in London performing her grandmotherly duties to another one of my sisters' son). I hope she likes it. What do y'all think?

BTW, Suby, I've got something up for you tomorrow (and no, I'm not going to tell you what it is).

Tamilore!!! She looks so grown up. Well, she's looked mature from day one. Not to worry about the crying, they all do it. When I pick up my niece sometimes, you'd imagine I was kidnapping her. Ugly? Are we fishing for compliments?
